Staff were very helpful let us stay past checkout time . Good breakfast
Had to walk to eat evning meal
Clean, new kitchenette facilities, reasonable price.
the staff were not friendly . next morning we were a bit late checking out due to so tired long travel a day earlier but she keep on asking us to hurry up around 10 am for her to clean the room. my little one was still in the bathroom.
Comfortable stay. Nearby shoplots and supermarket .
Lovely staff, keen to help in any way. We requested a room on the ground floor and they reorganised room allocations in order to achieve this. They also gave us a lift to the bus for the following day. The buildings are old but rooms have had a makeover and are very comfortable.
Polite and helpful staff and motel handy to all features of Picton.
Close to the ferries, and the ability to book in after the last ferry
'Motel' perhaps doesn't give the best impression - this place is super-clean and very nice, with (shared) balcony views over Picton main street (about 200 yards to the sea, something like an old-time, small-town America village). The High Street side has the nicest rooms, a good version of a modern luxury hotel style, but the room I was put in was one of the only two that don't get wifi, so I was moved by the very friendly staff to the other side - nicer harbour and mountain views, but not as luxury - still impeccably clean though and with good facilities. Ownership was literally being transferred on the day I was there - movers vans and all - but the new managers seemed every bit as friendly, helpful and straightforward as the outgoing couple.
All was great - for self-catering, ideally I'd like a little hob (microwave, kettle and toaster are provided), and a citrus squeezer, but for a short stay these are very minor quibbles.
Was within very easy waking distance from the Interisland Ferry. Located right in the middle of town, very short walk to the supermarket, pubs and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and exceptional value for the rate charged, being very clean and recently renovated.
Good facilities, friendly staff, wonderful location
Strandard of saccomodation & friendly staff
The friendly reception on arrival & the friendly help & advice. The cleanness of the room & how everyone made you feel at ease so you could enjoy your stay without any worries.
staff were so helpful and nothing was too much bother. I had offers of transport if I needed it.
nice clean tidy and every thing new
We stayed there as an overnight link before tramping the Queen Cgarlotte Track. There was a group of 4 - one couple and 2 singles. The configuration of the rooms was perfect for us. The location was excellent - close to the ferry, supermarket and boat transport to the track. Full cooking facilities were also very convenient.
Got a little bit of road noise but nothing excessive
Friendly Staff and Comfortable Accommodation, exactly what was needed.
